Moira Grice

Moira studied Art & Graphics at both Harrow and Newcastle Colleges of Art. She worked as a studio artist for a London based Advertising Agency and then as Art Editor for Heinemann Educational Books before moving to Chichester in the ’70’s. There she became freelance working for Macmillan Publishing as well as a number of design studios within the area. Moira joined Chichester College of Arts Science and Technology as an Art Lecturer and continued to teach there until 2005. She is also an accomplished contributor for Artist Publishing Company and Harper Collins and still regularly lectures and demonstrates art. Moira works mainly in watercolour, pastel and oil and has had many successful exhibitions in London, Suffolk and West Sussex. She draws inspiration from the environment around her and particularly enjoys the tranquility and beauty of harbours and countryside, the bold colours and shapes of flowers and the unique characteristics of interesting places, people, architecture and particular moments in time.
